There is so much going on in the background, probably leading to the next chapter starting.
Han Li Has now been cultivating for 20 Years, another time skip.
Then add another 40 Years, i can't keep up anymore.
The Girl now has her own sect.
Which now gets us ready for more in November which will run for a Year, 52 episodes, probably.

@bushman66 I've not seen any mc in donghua as calculative as Han Li. Wonderland/Wan Jie Xian Zong's mc is clever but not as good as Han Li, as WonderLand's mc gets lots of plot armor(sect leader, top notch harem with super cultivation .. ..)

Wait till you see how many Years have passed in the new Season.
One thing is Women do not interest him at all, only Immortality, which is a different way in Donghua.

I really like how plenty of time had actually passed before he breakthrough to the next stage, each progression feels more earned. Having that much time passed also makes it more realistic for Han Li to encounter the next big event in the series, otherwise it would feel odd for the MC to keep going up against the next big thing within a short span of time.

The sad realization that I just had though is that with this much time passed, his family is long gone as they would only have regular mortal's life span, and this is precisely why Han Li refuse to get too attached to the mortal's realm.

Plenty of set up in these 4 episodes for the next season.
