Is this anime Worth watching???

I read in some post that this anime will have a 7th season (This was a big suprise to me most anime today even its very good and sucessful rarely get a 2nd season, looking at you No Game No Life!) and I see the rating for each season it always around 8/10.

So I am wondering is this really that Good? What should I expect watching this anime series? Is this a slow burn?

In my opinion it's a really good anime, some people compare it to mushishi. It's an episodic anime about a high school boy who can see youkai (kind of like spirits). It's like a slice of life anime with supernatural elements and some drama. The soundtrack is great too! (Yes it's quite slow, it's supposed to have a healing affect on the viewer)

I completed watching all the Seasons and movies of Natsume's Book of Friends Last Year. and when Season 7 was announced I was so happy. recently there was news about getting English Dub of Season 1. It's a slice of life + Super Natural. I would recommend it if you feel not in the mood to watch any more head-wrecking thrillers or Just want Something to ease the pain. Something which just soothes away your emptiness.
Try at least initial Episodes.

I would definitely recommend it if you want to watch a slow wholesome anime. For me it’s one of the animes I like to rewatch at any time :)

Just started this last week and I’m going to start season 5 tonight, definitely recommend giving it a shot/couple of episodes

It is! Well if ur the time that likes calming animes with a lil action! It is so sweet and wholesome. But I also cried sometimes. It's really worth it!

i love this anime, it always feels so calm and relaxing. the sub and dub are both good but i prefer the dub version because the MC’s english va has such a soothing voice. he’s the same vc from hyouka’s mc

Yes. It's one of the best SoL. Calming settings with a picturesque art and befitting sound tracks. But other than the technical aspects, every episode gives a soothing and warm feeling with subtle flow of emotions.

And finally it has Madara, the best cat!

A must watch for the ones who like SOL and need something that will allow them to process their emotions. A truly healing and wholesome anime! I watched many, but none can top Natsume.

It depends whether you are ready for another sol ( slow moving, emotional etc). If you don't feel like watching one right now you shouldn't otherwise you won't like it anyway.

There is an over arching plot that progresses slowly over different interactions and character introductions which happen mostly in episodic settings. You can think of it like same as Violet Evergarden's plot structure.
