| From a somewhat charming romance simply from the attraction of the uncommon timid heroine with bangs to hide her sharp eyes who the male protagonist has a hard crush on as she's his type... to a very underwhelming cliche experience with a disappointing ending. Unfortunately, it seems it got rushed and axed to this abrupt ending, but to be fair, more than its charm on the surface of the impression of a cute timid girl with attractive unique sharp eyes... it didn't stand out a lot aside from that. It had the potential love triangle from his female classmate which quickly died after accepting he was never attracted to her, and simply decided to keep her new friendship over fighting for her unrequited love. Next to his misunderstood best friend who seems cold but is actually very caring and perceptive. Ultimately, with a dense male protagonist who is proactive in getting closer to the girl he has a crush on, with decent progress on his own and with the help of his friends... along with the loner heroine very slowly growing confidence by befriending the group and hanging out with them. Including the short twist of emotions from the guy thinking she has a boyfriend, only to learn that that's her brother. To finally in the most boring and cliche manner confess at their festival "date" when the fireworks explode- which she heard, followed by avoiding him, to then him confessing properly... to finally get friendzoned because they barely know each other still. ... While this was apparently axed. It also almost feels like a desperate attempt of a potential sequel since it isn't concrete to the point of the romance because "they didn't win" by not becoming a couple in the finale. Regardless, it seemed very good at the beginning, but quickly after was extremely cliche, to somewhat decent and mediocre, to now subpar. 3/10. |

| Why did this have to get axed. Why did this have such an ending. This was such a cute manga with so many good moments but the rushed final chapters decreased my satisfaction. Also the confession at the end could have ended with a positive reply to end the series. Why the hell did they leave it open like that. Being axed wasn't the only issue, the author's choice for ending was weird too. I still loved this manga and would have loved to see more of it but the final moments of the confession were just not as satisfactory as the rest of the series. |

| Was this actually axed? Or just completed with an awful ending and a not great epilogue after? Meh either way a waste of potential and good art. |
