| two months late but...the Chosen is basically an ideolgy that the church made up that an individual with high amounts of mana is the child of heaven and save the world from declining by going on a journey to become an angel...but in reality they are a sacrifice to became a vessel for their god. Collette is the Chosen of one continent while Zelos is one on another. in Zelos’ case, the king aka his father’s mistress, out of greed, tried to kill him so his sister (the mistress’ daughter) become the Chosen instead its something better explain if you played the game |
| @dannymilk Oookkkk it all makes way more sense now that you explained it. Anime really just said nah and showed a min flashback (understandable tho considering they were limited on time). I bought the game on a steam sale for 5 bucks and plan to play it this Christmas break. |

| @Chikipichi you made a very good decision. one of the best of the early Tales games next to Vesperia. just avoid the Dawn of the New World direct sequel unless you got it as a bundle lol |
| @dannymilk yeah I've heard the sequel was pretty shit so I didn't get it. Also you're right about Vesperia finished playing that like 3 months ago and it was hmm hmm oh so good. After Symphonia I'm planning on playing Berseria before Arise comes out. |

| @Chikipichi the series got some good ass games and love their handling of the characters. played almost all the main ones besides the PS2 ones since Symphonia i also recommend playing Zestiria, even though its a lesser game, before Berseria just for the thrill of seeing how certain things plays out in Zestiria when playing thru Berseria since they’re set in the same canon |
