This is an interesting case of erotica but it isn't erotic. None of the sex scenes where remotely "hot" since their inter-spliced with graphic rape scenes. While the mood is definitely heightened due to it's beautiful sound design it's almost a horror since it can shift in seconds. A underrated gem of anime with a focus on child abuse and denial.
