| Hi Petalview, i might as well contribute a little.....lol, we are always so active in the TAT, but i guess sharing a bit with the whole fandom is nice as well......We recently tried to contact TDX to find out if we will have scans in the near future, but it looks like we will have to be patient.....she still hasn't received anything from her Rawprovider, so looks like she's waiting for the volume release (in August?). Does anyone have any info? I really wonder who Chihaya is going to face in the finals........and Taichi first needs to battle Sudo.........who is also used to playing Suou, so lets see which one of the two learned most from the Meijin. Iatheia gave us a rough translation of the last raws, makes us really wonder what is going on with Taichi. Nishida and Komano seem to remark that he isn't happy........ well, hope this thread will start being lively!!! So many members! Fighting Chihayafuru fans! |

I wonder about that, too. But somehow, I think Suetsugu-san likes cheesy stuff. (Haha, I do as well. x3 ) I'd like to see Chihaya facing the queen, but somehow I don't think that dear Chihaya-chan will already win. Or let me say it in other words... If Chihaya would win, I think it would be a singal for the Manga to end and well, I don't want the Manga to end in the near future. :P I'm not sure about the result of Sudo vs. Taichi either... I expect Sudo to be quite a challenge... If Taichi wins, then it probably will be nerve-wracking. Well, if he loses, too! >__<)/ I glimpsed a little at the raws and well, I can't wait for the new chapters! :3 Mizusawa! *cough* Chihayafuru Fanclub *cough* Fighto! |

That image that Suetsugu san made when Taichi thought about the people he loved, i guess i would see something like that too when thinking about all the great characters in Chihayafuru. @chiakimagoto Oh, which scene/ image do you mean there? Can't classify it clearly right now! =O |
| It was when Taichi ran after Suou, and Suou guessed he didn't like karuta and played for the sake of staying close to all those people he loves........and then you get that image with Chihaya, Arata, Harada, the team etc..... |

| My visit at the Japan Expo in Paris: During the last few days there was the Japan Expo in Paris held. I had the chance to see and experience quite a lot. I went to concerts, shows, panels and met people from the anime industry and artists. Such a great convention! There has been quite a lot which interested me. I even went to the world premiere of the new Pokemon Movie, haha. (Didn't even air in Japan, yet.) Anyway,... I was also able to purchase a few of the volumes of the French Chihayafuru volumes, as I am studying French, it will be a good experience to read them. Wanted to get them for quite a while and now I even saved postal charges. :3 The French Pika editions are quite nice so far. They seem to be put well together. At the very beginning, there is a short extract explaining a little bit about the background of Karuta and how it is set up. There is also at the end of the manga a bigger extract and also the 4 Koma. They even included 8 Karuta cards at the end, which you can collect and which make it easier to understand the meanings of the poems.  Last but not least, if you're following Suetsugus Twitter feed, you might have seen her sharing a Tweet from Belcorno with LatteArt a few days ago... (https://twitter.com/BELCORNO/status/883729681404444672) That was actually me, who requested the Chihaya LatteArt at the Japan Expo in Paris. xD I went there with a friend who visited his cafe in Japan in the past. It was interesting to see that he also likes Chihayafuru a lot, he told me that. He was also kinda surprised to get this order. Later on, after posting it, he told me himself that even Suetsugu-san retweeted his post. Made him very happy, too.  As I am not too bad with confectionery, I also want to try making LatteArt by myself. I got a tool set for making LatteArt from Belcorno, you might see my own creations at a later point of time. :) Btw, I also made a film of how the Chihaya Latte from Belcorno was created, I might upload it at a later point. Did someone of you also went to the Japan Expo in Paris? Or would you have liked to go? |
