I do hope so, but I don't think there will be really a second season because the story had an more or less acceptable end in the first season and I don't think that any studio would do the effort to make another season. Besides, the first season was made 2004, so if a second season was planned, it would have been released already.
But it would be really cool if I thought wrong!

I really hope that there will be a second season.
I love the Dears ^^

but in fact... The original DearS Team disbanded... :'-(
And nowhere in the worldwideweb I found a hint on a second season...
After watching the last episode of DearS I searched for the second..
This are the reasons why the chances for a second season are really low -.-

There is not going to be a second season of dears ( even though i wish they would) because in japan dears got cancelled due to the content on a early time slot i think it was like 4 pm. some parents complained and the show was pulled, but since the creator made his money he dicided to stop the show.

There isn't.. I dont think there will be
BTW the Anime doesn't even cover up half of the Manga
That would be 1 Reason why they would, but what if they put Fillers on the Anime?
Or even worse. It doesn't fully follow the Manga at all, Specially in the Ending of it

Anyways. I'll try to read the Manga & find out, But thats not why I'm readin it

The series ended abruptly.... like the dears community wanted Takeya to send ren back... and that was the last episode...

How can a series end like that you don’t even know what happens to ren ??? If she stays with Takeya or not wtf lol

Was a funny anime but the end and the fact it wasn’t continued... even though the last episode made it seem like there was an ending that kinda sucked...
