The scene where grandpa fell in the storm melted my hear. Heidi is lovely, but a little spoiled I guess, and why doesn't anyone watch this?

Heidi is too kind for her own good. Those two hunters only got in a dangerous situation because they didn't take her grandfather's advice seriously even though he was a seasoned habitant of those mountains.

But she couldn't stop thinking about them pretty much making her grandfather risk himself to save them so she wouldn't be sad. I guess this is a good thing about her though, it can just be dangerous. But I'm glad things worked out fine.

Heidi facing those huntsmen with hunting rifles and not flinching in the slightest, even going as far as to stick her tongue out mockingly at them, despite their slight threats, was badass coming from a child. I Highly doubt any adult would have done the same at gunpoint.

These hunters though. They storm into the cottage unannounced as if they own the place. Their rude behavior and mocking attitude are certainly not that of a respectable guest. However, Heidi's pureness and kindness know no bounds, worrying about them constantly regardless of them being strangers. Her dilemma touched her grandfather's heart and made him act out of character, further prove that Heidi's insertion into his life has changed this old man emotionally.
