I want to know if the bat used to represent a secret japanese organization or something. Also, maybe the mangaka got the idea of the character from this symbol. Need to know more! |

| The story so far has quite an interesting structure, the way Urasawa connects the scenes. Now the story definitely changed places, to Japan, where this character appears who, according to what I have investigated, is real, Shimoyama, and who is closely related to a mysterious Japanese case in just that year: 1949. Really interesting. |
