| what is it and why is it taking up 100% of my cpu??, ive done some research seems that its an windows process to manage dll's but that dosnt explain why every day for about 20-40minutes it uses 100% of my cpu, this problem is easyly solved by ending the process but itl just come back in a few hours or few days it isnt a virus aswell scaned at virustotal nothing shown also scaned my hole computer with nod32 and zone alarm, no virus o.oooo.o.o.o i would do a system restore to like last month or so but all my settings would leave me :(( dont want to format either |

| rundll32 is a process, but it's also often used as name for virus processes to cover themselves up in the process manager. In this case, however, I wouldn't worry too much about it, NOD32 is very sharp at things like these and if it hasn't found anything, there probably is nothing wrong either. The fact that it uses so much CPU performance is normal, especially if you use Windows Vista. |
| oh i see, something else is also bothering me when i check my whenever rundll32.exe is running theres always more then 4 of them runing at the same time witch all adds up to use up all my cpu |
