Over Drive - cycling Ace of Diamond - baseball, currently airing Tactics/strategy driven: One Outs Giant Killing - soccer/football mgmt. Not 'traditional' sports but highly recommended: Chihayafuru - recent and highly popular - worth a shot regardless Hikaru no Go - Jap board game (can be a hard to follow the matches). Haven't seen myself but popular: Eyeshield 11 - Football (american) - i believe it's powers based. Captain Tsubasa - powers soccer. Initial D - DRIFTING Ookiku Furikabutte - recentish baseball Dated: Adachi Mitsuru's Baseballl: Touch, H2. | Initial D!!! I remember when I first got hooked to sports anime from Hajime no Ippo and thought nothing would compare. Initial D was fucking cash pretty much awesome. The first season (or stage) the animation is REALLY bad, but if you can get over the animation the plot is sick. The animation vastly improves after the first stage. |
