Hanai-san is so sweet, but talk about putting Riri in a awkard situation. When I saw Riri wearing that t-shirt I had a feeling Futaba would be wearing the matching one ^^
Was the drowning really that necessary? Plus I didn't think that Riri would declare her feelings to Futaba like that. Liked the beginning of the final scene, however just as the warm fuzzy feeling was growing it ended. :|
I liked the characters, Riri in particular, but I guess with it being so short, with quite a bit of cliqued drama being thrown in, felt in the end that it was trying to do too much with too little time. Still kawaii though!!!! :)

how exactly did he put her in an awkard position? i didn't really noticed;;

i agree that it was too much,but it made Futaba start realizing what she was doing

i thought it was normal, i could expect Riri to that. she isn't the type of person who would deny her feelings that much, she'd put up with it, but she would lie to herself
the part where Futaba said that in exchange for the seashell she'll give Sei-chan to Riri? it's not she owned him, even if he promised he'd stay with her forever, he wasn't hers
i liked Riri as well, i'm not usually a fan of the heroine of most stories with more then 1 chapter, but her i liked
I really liked the story. Of course I would've wished it was longer, but the way it was written made it feel as if it was slightly longer than 4 chapters, which I appreciated. I liked Riri as the main character. Hard-working, persistent, honest, yet still cute and ditzy. (And not a weepy damsel in distress. For the most part.)
Speaking of distress, the drowning scene was certainly overkill. The moment she ran into the water, I thought, "Uh oh here comes the inevitable leg cramp that will force the guy to come and save her." But I can easily let that slide since the rest of it was really cute.
It was a good read, overall. It was a little fast, but it didn't bother me that much.
I think the drowning scene was necessary. It's the scene in all shoujo mangas where everybody realize the boy and the girl are meant to be together... And of course, some exaggerated plot and drama that we can't only forgive 'cause it's a shoujo manga.
