| The anime is coming soon, I hope we are all ready! I felt that we needed a thread to get this awesome club going, so how about starting off with our favorite characters! I really love the whole group of students in general but I was obviously way too attached to certain ones. Those characters are Ishimaru and Kirigiri. Ishimaru said some of the silliest things that i couldn't help liking him and his intense personality is great. Then, Kirigiri is my ultimate role model, she just has all the smarts, the skills, amazing boots, etc., so I just really love her a lot! What are some of your favorite characters and why? |
| I also pretty much love everyone ;-; At first I didn't really have a single favorite character?? Eventually, at around chapter 5 I think, it hit me and I really like Naegi the most! It's probably because his personality is sort of really close to mine ;;; Then there's Mondo, I absolutely love his character type uwu And his design~! aaand Junko is fabulous in every way. |

| Well at first I didn't really have any favourite characters, just a hated one - Fukawa - ... don't really know how it happened, but from the first minute I saw her I just didn't like her ...... Now, however, after 5 eps, I can finally say that I have a favourite character! Actually it's more like a top 3. =P 3 - Naegi - He's interesting and actually pretty smart x) 2 - Kirigiri - ALELUIA a female character that isn't anoying in any way or a complete stereotype !!! BANZAI !!!!! xP ... and before I say who the number one in my top 3 favs is, let me just say that I really admire intelligent people and characters ... though I still don't really know how to explain this choice ... oh well ..... 1 - Byakuya Togami - I like his confidence, he's smart and he's cute to boot! x) |

| Junko and Sakura. Can't decide honestly.. I loved Sakura the moment I saw her, and as the story progressed I found I loved her personality. I love her loyalty and how much she cares for her friends. Then of course Hagakure and Fukawa are second and third for comic relief. |

| From the first I can't really say anyone jumped out for me, but for the Second there is Souda and Nagito. Yesyesyes! Both of them are just perfect, with one being the most helpful and useful and the other loving the despair! |

| Im a pretty huge fan of Ishimaru/Ishida. Ishimaru appeared to be one of the more mature students when being informed of the situation they are in. His strong presence, I believe, had helped the students relax a bit while within the hell-hole of Despair Academy (such as the enforcement of the early morning breakfasts). His red eyes were pretty bad-ass, but when he went super sayan was when I realized he was my favorite character. Seriously, Ishida is the definition of AMAZING! White hair, red eyes, resonating energy so thick you can see it, AND has the combined personalities of Oowada and Ishimaru. What other cool thing could you add? Too bad he was short lived AND that Oowada had to die for Ishimaru to turn into Ishida. RIP ISHIMARU! ;-; |

| Leon Kuwata grew onto me after reading the manga and a few bits from Dangan Ronpa IF, he's my favorite character from the Dangan Ronpa series. Sure he displayed the typical snobby jerk attitude in the game and anime but he's a really great character and I also love his unique design and getup (especially since it's heavily based on infamous punk-rockers). Sayaka Maizono would be my second favorite, I pitied her for her rough childhood, and while she made her own mistakes and dug her own grave, she was eager to never loosen her grip around her dreams. And also Sakura -- she's kind and strong not only physically, but mentally as well. She's a hero and such important and lovable character! Truly a princess. |
| The cast of Dangan Ronpa is great, and I do adore a majority of the cast in the show (Though I hate on Fukawa quite frequently o.e) My favorite males in the Game/Anime would probably be: 1- Ishimaru 2- Chihiro (His death as terrible tho.. T.T) 3- Togami The best female characters, in my opinion then are: 1- Asahina 2- Celestia 3- Sakura |

| Out of all characters, including female and male: #1: Celestia Ludenberg, forever and always. I love her voice in the game and adore her personality. #2: Junko Enoshima, the ultimate insanity, which just so happens to be one of my weaknesses in terms of characters. #3: Mikan Tsumiki, insanity x2. Honestly, I don't know why this intrigues me so much. As for the men.. #1: Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu, made a fantastic turn around of personality. #2: Hajime Hinata, not too plain, not too ''good guy''. #3: Chihiro Fujisaki, nice. Can't say much else. I'm not too big of a fan of the other males. |
