| K-ON! is the spiritual predecessor of Tamako Market. Features pretty much the same creative team, and the characters look very similar. Plus, it's also from Kyoto Animation (who also did Lucky Star). And the musical tracks that spawned from this show are a nice bonus. It has a second season, which is longer (26 episodes), and even a movie. Azumanga Daioh. If you have any love for slice of life anime, this is the show to watch. It's not really short, as it has 26 episodes, but the wacky humor alone is enough to keep watching. Tamayura ~Hitotose~. Very relaxing and laid-back show. Especially good if you had a rough day or just watched a very intense show. Its second season will air soon. Acchi Kocchi. Very funny show with a pinch of romance. Definitely worth a try. I second Yuru Yuri (both seasons) and would advise you to watch Yuyushiki, which is currently airing, as well. |
