| Okay this might be old for you guys but WTF!??!I just recently saw this post from the venicetheorigination website a while ago. Story as follows: I was trawling around Asuki as usual when I read the news that the singer Kawai Eri (河井 英里) had passed away on August 4, 2008. She's best known in ARIA for singing Athena's songs - Baracarole and Kokkoro. However, she also did the vocals for all the background songs which don't contain any lyrics such as the track played in the background of The Origination Ep02 (timestamp 17:02) when we reach Amarantha's secret place (Aria - Kawai Eri). Less known is the fact that she wrote the lyrics for the three OP songs, Undine, Euforia, Spirale. Rest in peace - You brought joy to many peoples' lives. ARIA would not have been the same without your priceless contribution. Damn,she has done so much for ARIA..WHY?!!WHY MUST SHE DIE?!?!!?Now there's no chance for another OVA or whatever..If it does,ARIA won't be the same anymore.Plus I really enjoyed her singing Baracarole.Her voice is so heavenly it brings me to manly tears.T_T Rest in peace Kawai Eri.You have given ARIA the songs it deserved.Thank You! ;_; |

| Old* news which is unfortunately true. Apparently died from liver cancer. The producer of "SUNFLOWER" wrote how he was shocked as Kawai Eri had been her usual self just 3 months before her passing away. Glad to hear you loved this series and if ever an OVA is made, it can be definately be done using old tracks. While I'm pessimistic, I really hope the final Cait Sith encounter gets animated. *Because I typed it up. :P |
