I'm looking for a good show, that's about it.

I like cute girls, especially when they're suffering (Uta Kata, Shinsekai Yori, Madoka). I don't think there are too many good shows in that direction though, so feel free to recommend anything I haven't already completed or am currently watching.

I actually dropped Angel Beats early on, just didn't update my list. My bad. Heard a lot about AnoHana, and since it's only 11 episodes I'll be able to finish it pretty quickly. Definitely going to watch, thanks.

Ookami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki - The 2 main girls are suffering in a way.
Kuragehime - The main girl is kinda cute if you think about it.
Little Witch Academia - The girls are cutie pies imo
Hotarubi no Mori E - The girl is dying inside at the end ;;

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann for an over the top mecha anime that can be enjoyed by non mecha fans. Expect lots of action, a few plot twists, especially late into the series, and expect things to escalate to insane levels.
Durarara!! for a very stylish, hip, and modern show involving gang wars and supernatural events involving a headless motorcyclist and a strange attacker in the city known as the Slasher. Has a great story and is very fun, though it has a lackluster ending.
Neither involves cute girls suffering all that much, sadly. Though Durarara!! has it a little....
