| GX are after DM. Duel Academia was build by Kaiba and he make an cameo too. Yugi also make an apearance giving Judai his Winged Kuriboh. And there is also Pegasus that get duel and play important part in finding Rainbow Dragon. 5D's is distance future of GX. At least by the movie it was connected in one timeline. I don't know where Zexal take place. |

| DM>GX>5D's are all set in the same universe but years apart. The only thing they have in common is card games and some cameos/references from characters in the later series. Zero well technically set before the events of DM is an alternate version of DM. And I'm pretty sure Zexal it's set in it's own universe. |
