| Every anime ever. ~Kidding~ Here are some: Accel World .. I think this one is obvious. Air gear throughout the anime, most really doubt that he is that good of a storm rider. Angel beats Beck, most think Koyuki is the type of person who isn't good at anything. Berserk, he's very much disliked by most of the people who are in the same group. Claymore, most think of Clare as the worst Claymore and she is often teased by it. Deadman Wonderland FLCL Freezing Highschool DxD Infinite Stratos Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? Mirai Nikki Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Toradora!, both Taiga and Ryuuji are thought of as bullies, when in fact they are very misunderstood. Zero no Tsukaima, Louise is thought of as a "zero", and Saito is treated like a house dog. |

| Holyland is probably the best recommendation you have gotten. A lot of the other recommendations are good, but Holyland focuses so much on character development and the realistic martial arts scenes with thorough explanations behind each martial art and their respective actions and reactions. As for characters you basically get everything; extreme bullying, depression, attempted suicide, nervous breakdowns, redemption, rise to excellence and exaltation. It is truly an exemplary martial arts manga that should be read by all fans of the genre. |
