so ye imo this show and manga makes you think more than feel more

like i do not feel or emotional much about death of characters here but thinking about the power systems and each curse technique for example and even the strategies when they fight is enjoyable too and thats what mostly what this show gives

so thoughts? and vote in the poll

in short its not emotional like my hero academia or demon slayer or even chainsaw man heck its not even comedy action like dragon ball

It depends on the person. For example, for me, MHA isn't emotional at all because, especially towards the end, everyone has plot armor, everything is very predictableetc., so when the author tried to kill someone, I was like, "Okay, he'll be back in two episodes." The drama of other characters, like the toxic Todoroki family, doesn't really bother me either. Kimetsu has some great emotional moments, but the flashbacks are usually pretty much the same, so watching the demons' difficult childhoods doesn't really grab you. In CSM, most people die practically instantly, often after just a few episodes, so... If I had to say, Jjk is fifty-fifty for me. It's both logical and emotional at the same time. Not every death is "equal" to the others, but I always feel something at least a little.

I agree. I never felt anything for any character death so far include Nobara and Nanami.

I am not sure what's the reason. I think it would be studios choice or the situation doesn't make it emotional like Demon Slayer Mugen Train which was an emotional ride.

heck there are complains from japan that the director made the suppose sad maki fight become a rule of cool with energetic music as background too

but im a manga reader for both demon slayer and jujutsu kaisen and its the same i do not feel emotional for deaths on jujutsu kaisen but that may differ once modulo sequel gets animated

I have always treated this series as a psychological story.

I'm not emotional when it comes to this show because I don't care for most of the characters. Nanami was the best one but even he is far far away from being anywhere near my top 50 favorite characters in anime.
I also don't really think about strategy that much because a lot of it feels pretty random to me.

I mean did anyone care that Yaga died considering how little screen-time he received throughout the series? This series is full of characters who only pop up once in a while and do little or nothing before dying.

relatable. after 3 seasons, I haven't connected with any character. so when characters like Nanami and Nobata died, I was surprised, not sad. as for the "logic" bit, honestly, the story of JJK fell out of place with me during s2 and I stopped for watching for the story. now, I only watch for the animation and fights. of course, that's not to say I don't know what's going on in the story.

Yeah this is imo one of the weaker parts of the series and why it’s not particularly emotional for me.

I don't believe it is either.
It is more hype than logical too, because literally it does have way too many "makes no sense"

What I'm seeing is that it tries to be both logical and emotional, and fails at both. At most you could say that, between the two, it tries harder to be logical (but that also means failing harder).

I had fun when it was just pure chaos dumb fun edgy, mainly in the second half of s1 and s2, not much with the current season.

Jjk is more logical like you said while MHA is more emotional
