I wouldn't bring my hopes up to high. They could of had a 2nd season and possibly a 3rd season with just 13 novels.

How much of the LN has already been adapted? I am unsure if I'm interested in a second season myself, though iirc much of the plot was unresolved, correct?

10 volumes. However, 3 volumes in the middle were skipped. I can't think of a worse anime adaptation of a LN.

Please no, they already murdered the LN in the first season, we don't need them to obliterate it again.

I hope not - the anime adaption was piss-poor, with huge chunks cut out and what was left was screen played by a 8yr old.

pretty sure it was one of the lowest scoring shows that season for me.

wasnt that terrible magic hat one the same season?
