I don't watch anime on Tablet but lately I often watch anime on phone when commuting and I say it's still enjoyable as ever, the small screen apparently is a problem at all :)
@Rinrinka Dont know why but for some reason i cant really get into watching stuff in a public setting. Even if im reading something ill like turn the greyscale on lol and zoom out alot (Ik it sounds weird)

Yes I use tablets or my phone to watch anime. If it's available on Crunchyroll and no Blu Rays are released, that's when I use my Smart TV.

I find that I get way too distracted if I am watching shows on my computer.

@aweebwhoexists This tablet wasn't very successful for the brand, I don't even know if they made others after the G70 lol

Cool, Which OnePlus do you have?
@_juuj I seee, must be harder for brands to break into the already kinda established tablet market yeah. And I have a OnePlus Nord Ce5 phone :)

I watched a lot of stuff on the ipad mini first gen like 7 years back i think. Read date a live light novel on that thing as well lol. I was watching stuff on my phone but then i broke the headphone thingy inside the jack so now im back to watching on the laptop
@hecn_huh If the tablet doesn't now just assume other headphones are plugged in, maybe you could use Bluetooth headphones with it. Although your tablet might be a little old now for some streaming apps at least, I'm not sure how well Apple products stay up to date without slowing down I mean.

@Zarutaku I'm using my phone to watch anime most of the time and it's perfectly fine for me.

My tablet is 13.3inches. I use it for multi-purpose, not just for entertainment. It's easy to carry around, while PC, TV and laptops are for home use.

Anything smaller than a PC monitor is useless to me. Maybe a laptop monitor in a pinch, but ideally I don't watch any anime, movie or TV show on a tablet or phone. Small screens break my immersion.

yes, I have! I do enjoy it, since it's bigger than a phone and still easy to carry. But i usually use my phone, since it's more accessible

Me personally, no. I wish I owned a tablet for at home use and for mobile games such as Project Sekai, Arcaea and such. But I don't own one and thus I don't watch on tablet, I usually watch on my computer or tv nothing else..

I had used it once before, and it was enjoyable to watch. I usually watch anime on my phone; I prefer watching anime movies or longer OVAs on my laptop or desktop.

Very Lynchian thread.

But on a serious note, anything smaller than a computer screen I see as too small to watch on as you won't see enough detail when it's all shrunken down

@Epiccgaymer Do you think 11-14 inches is small? Those are the sizes of most current tablets.

Depends. I'd say for most modern wide-screen anime then yes, but maybe it'd be ok for stuff in 4:3

@Epiccgaymer I have to disagree, the 4:3 aspect ratio anime looks terrible on my 11-inch screen. Widescreen ones, on the other hand, work very well.

@_juuj
It's all subjective and due to what we've seen, but I feel that 4:3 stuff, by virtue of being smaller, loses less from a smaller screen than the bigger 16:9

I like tablets but the color and brightness settings in it are screwed because the display looks washed and/or saturated.

And the keyboard for my tablet is expensive, so I just use my laptop.

I did use my tablet before a lot.

@thepotatoprince Well, this is a hybrid, and if it's one of those older ones, the screen is really bad, I've used one. I'm referring to current tablets, like those in the Samsung S line, Xiaomi, etc.

Oooooh~ I didn't know that.

I tend to stick to familiar brands, and I wanted to make sure it was able to run Steam. XD

@thepotatoprince That makes sense, were you able to play on it?

The one I used got completely destroyed because of this thing about it turning into a tablet :')

Yeah, games that allowed touchscreen were playable. I could use a controller too but I prefer my Switch Lite.

Got destroyed? What happened? O.O

@Epiccgaymer 4:3 anime were also designed for smaller screen sizes since most people during CRT days had 14 or 21" TVs. So everything in them was bigger and closer, while in 16:9 content the shots are wider.

@thepotatoprince oh, Nice:)

Due to the screen's mobility, it became loose over time and also partially disassembled from the notebook

I'm sorry it became loose over time.

Mass manufactured stuff aren't super durable. My charger for my tablet is almost completely unuseable.

I only watch on tablet if I'm out someplace waiting in the car, like while at the laundromat or something. And I only put on shows I don't care a whole lot about, like some 5/10 that doesn't demand I watch it in the best viewing conditions on a big screen.
