| Even though this wasn't the animation I first expected, the story was quite interesting, and I really want to dig into the manhwa now. |
| Kind of an abrupt ending... The only way they tried to "wrap it up" was showing the little montage of Sven/Lua romance-ish moments (I guess), but every plot is left hanging. Even ending it after episode 9 (where they stopped the beast attack and Dedmond was arrested) might have been a better ending point, nothing really happened since then except setting up new plots that they didn't have time to do anything with. Guess we have to read the manga after all... |

| I've grown interested in the story. I had to double check the total episode count because this ending is a total cliffhanger. The manhwa is available in TappyToon/Manta and from the thumbnails the anime adapted up to Chapter 24. Lua and Sven are a good pair. Sven being fond of her is very cute. I usually an more drawn into characters like Shiji, but it's nice to see an ML like Sven too. Shiji is cool and I like whenever he shows up haha. Lua seems to be gaining more allies in the future king's fiancee and her former aide. Lua makes me want to root for her, she is very likeable. The villain girl makes Lua live in her head rent-free, it's pitiful to be so insecure considering she is in a better social status. I wonder if there'll be more reasons for her weird hate over Lua or she's just a flat character villain. The woman who keeps wanting to harm Lua does not look like a noblewoman so I wonder if she's just being unjustifiably territorial/weird over Sven. |
