| Another great episode and one that leaves me craving Mochi very badly lol. Kurikyuta and Tanaka got me over here starving! It’s always nice to get an episode where we see the positivity the girls bring to their community and the impact they have on other people. Also, kimipre movie is out in theaters, shame it’s not being brought internationally. All those fan letters are from me for Cure Kiss btw lol. Kurikyuta being a grown man and wanting to become a precure is so real. The fact his love of Cure idol is what helped him through the grueling rehab after his ankle injury is really sweet too. I like how Chikara looks up to him just as much as he looks up to the girls. Honestly, they should keep him around as the official chef or let em help out Tanaka in some capacity. Of course he gets turned into this week’s fight, still gives me chills seeing all the girls fighting together now! The fact Kurikyuta’s letters ended up being a source of motivation for Idol to push through and pull out the win this week is so cool. Fan mail is important! So glad he didn’t give up on sumo wrestling and the girls ended up cheering him on. Really nice story this week. |

| Sure there's the love for doing sumo but, seeing the Kurikyuta's two appeals are food related, I believe that partially he becoming a sumo wrestler is a byproduct. |

| so many fan letters, and amazing how Cutty was able to sort them all out. The envelopes look color coded, fans know what color envelope to use for each cure? and nice to see that each of the girls received decent amounts. |
| There must be some kind of astral conjunction because it's not possible, not because I was expecting this to not be good (it's amazing, a 9/10 if not a 10/10, it made me legitimately cry) but because the tokusatsu companion to this series, No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger, finally is getting away from the horrible quality of the last episodes and it's again good like it was at the very start! Are you reading my complaints about your series online, Akiko? BTW, to anyone following this series I STRONGLY suggest to start watching the fansubs of No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger if not for the fact that there is a clear nod to the previous episode of Gozyuger in this one from the Pretty Cures, so you're missing it if you don't watch also Gozyuger. Now onto Zeztz to see if it's up to the quality of the first two episodes. |

Since this is a Super Sentai/Kamen Rider/Space Sheriff show masqueraded as a magical girl one (like all Pretty Cures since the very inception), it's logical they take something from the main Sentai show, like they probably did the thing of the male Pretty Cure at the time because the Sentai of the Time (Avataro Sentai Donbrothers) did it. You can find it funsubbed if you search on google or nyaa. |

That’s a drastic oversimplification of the Mahou shoujo genre, but yea Toei does have some Toku writers working on precure and they generally share similar tropes since they air around the same time. |

That’s a drastic oversimplification of the Mahou shoujo genre, but yea Toei does have some Toku writers working on precure and they generally share similar tropes since they air around the same time.
| @Marinate1016 not the mahou shoujo genre, this IP in particular is simply a Kamen Rider/Super Sentai Show with a slight topping of magical girl but the core is all from the tokusatsus of Toei. From the very beginning, when Nagisa and Honoka beat the ass of the bad guys like the Kamen Rider does and there were episodes (in the first good half, at least) taken out directly from Battle Fever J. You never noticed it? it's the same thing Naoko Takeuchi tried to do with her manga (which copied the superhero tokusatsu of Toei at nauseam) sans what Naoko put in it of her own, namely the boring background crap of the superheroines and the villains alike and the non-existant coreography in the fights. |
