…why the demons killed that one old wizard with the white hair (sorry, names from this show did *not* stick with me 😅), and everyone at the embassy? The female demon kept saying the demon lord told them NOT to kill any humans, but the male said *except* at the request of their collaborator, the governor. Ok, but the governor was only kidnapping & killing people to feed their life energy to the magic crystal to “save” the town, but no one from the embassy (or the wizard) had their energy sucked, they were just massacred. Was there something else in play? Was it a political move somehow? I may be mis-remembering some details, and I hoped it would have been explained by the last episode, but unless i totally missed something… nope 🫤

The male demon seemed afraid of the Demon Lord because of her power, but he didn't seem to like her pacifism towards humans. He also set up a trap to kill the female demon, presumably to keep her from reporting what he did to the Demon Lord. The female demon didn't kill them, she just happened to come across what he did.

I kind of assume he was trying to start a war between humans and demons.

@HOOfan_1 In fact, the "pacifist" busty Demon made the biggest provocation by killing the wizard... And it wasn't the "unplanned" massacre.

I can assume it was demanded by the governor, but why?

I appreciate this series for being one of the least stupid in the genre. Almost everything the characters did, especially the MC, was reasonable.

BUT this assassination was nosense. Reading beyond the plot, i think the author simply asspulled it for a "shocking scene."

@Rob7 idk, leaving an enemy operative to maybe die after a while and not confirming the kill is some James Bond villain stuff. It feels pretty unreasonable.

She didn't kill the wizard...they specifically made that point. They specifically said the bugs or whatever Ganias controlled were responsible for killing all of those people. She just happened to come by to witness what they had done.
