The 4th dimension theory is a good one, that'd explain why he had a tie with "X" (if he came from a future where he already knew he'd win the tournament) and his old "grassy" floor on the hero tower

Hm that's a good question, as far as i know it could very well be the 4D theory you just said. But before that i was nowhere close to having a good theory i am satisfied with.
I had a few tho, so I'm gonna list them for you:

- X being a VTuber/YouTuber/Influencer: X being a content creator as shown in some promocional videos could explain his supernatural powers.
As we saw with some heroes, people believe what they see, and what they believe becomes a reality. If i were a hero who could make incredible edits like snapping my fingers and then just turn into paper, to finally explain those are my powers (but remember they're not, I'm just editing to making it seem like that) then i would soon get that power.

- X being an Alien: This is a theory i thought of (i believe it's revealed in Loli's 2nd episode) by considering the ruins (alien's spaceship) are where he came from. Since he goes beyond the truth value and fear value itself, like johnnies it could trascend those as an Alien.

- X being a manifestation of an ideal hero: Maybe from the beliefs of heroes controlled by associations, looking for a hero of heroes to save them, or the people themselves, looking for an ideal X who could protect every single being because of the downfall incident, therefore becoming a god (Savior, just as Jesus image consolidated because of the needs of the people for a savior of humanity.)

Those were all my theories, not the best ones but you tell me what do you think of them!

I've definitely been convinced X is some sort of time traveler, there's even official art of him with Lu Guang from Link Click which is a time travel series, plus I'm wondering if the ending of episode 1 has to do with time travel, that vision of dead Moon, did X show Lin Ling as a warning? I do wonder...

I think it was shown that X was a magician before becoming a hero.
If he was an amazing magic that could do almost anything, then people would start believing he could do anything and that's why he can do whatever he wants because people believe that he can.

That could be it but i think that was just a vision Ahu had comparing X to a magician

I'm thinking that he doesn't really have too much control of his powers, like fear is disrupting the world and he just stabilizes it. Like for lightning, he doesn't make it strike, just delays or speeds or up a few seconds and controls where it hits

What I mostly wonder: When he switches from 3D to anime, sure, that looks cool for us, the audience. But what actually happens to the people in the series? Because it's been establish that they don't see any difference, both 3D and anime has been used as normal, so what actually happens to them when X uses his power?
