| Yeah, I feel this too, but it was the same in season one. Impacts and explosions especially sound really muffled and flat. I'm not sure why this is the case, I don't remember other anime being like this. I should say I watch with headphones, maybe it's mixed for big speakers or soundsystems? |

Pretty sure other people as well as me were talking about it in the episode discussions. This season as a whole is whack and the shitty sounds on top of that don't help it at all. |

| @Tithain I got a dual speaker soundsystem and it still sounds extremely flat. Seems like it is an issue for everyone then. |

Yes, I thought I was being too judgmental but, well, it seems other people noticed that too. And that is a shame because an anime with this much action and explosions would be a delight with a proper sound mixing. Take Youjo Senki for example, the sound quality for that is crazy, the explosions sound like they're happening right in front of you. Another anime I noticed has this wacky sound design is Solo Leveling, but I don't know if others will agree. |
