| Today we got birthday episode, the costumes Lily's mom prepared for everyone is adorable. And of course she used this special day to feed Renji as much as she could. xD Poor dad, not only that he got the wrong date for birthday but he feels challenged by Renji for his daughter's affection. xD All in all another good episode, straightforward one from start to finish. Lot of cute and wholesome moments. |

| Loved the episode, it was so adorable. I love this anime’s fluffy vibes. I think it’s the perfect embodiment of the metaphor “rainbows and sunshine”. Glazing aside, I’m really glad all of Lily’s friends, Karin, Hotaru, Aoi, and Renji were there to celebrate with her. Speaking of Renji, I don’t really know whether to call him Lily’s client, since most of their interactions are within the arcade, her friend, since they technically do cultural exchange through pen and paper, or her loved one, since she's in love with him, haha. Renji aside, I really hope Lily’s family throws another birthday for her tomorrow as they said, since her father would be hurt otherwise. She had her birthday with friends, so tomorrow should be her family birthday with her parents! |
| I love how there are more girls every episode. And we got some more Kenji and Lily. I'm still surprised the mother is so chill about them, even the middle schoolers picked up on it lol. |

| Pretty slow episode with the birthday party. Not much happened and we didn't get to see much gaming either. I get that this was set as a way show the current status of everyone's relationships but I'd have liked for more to be shown. Oh well.< PS: Marmite is terrible |

| Liked the breakfast comparison at the start there, showing the difference between a Japanese breakfast and a British/western one. Can't forget the Marmite. Lily didn't hold back with Renji, feeding him cake. The 2 girls are like wth is with those 2 and everyone else is like that's normal. Lily's dads reaction was hilarious, apologising for interrupting the party and briefly leaving until realising Renji is there and returning pissed off |

| Dude’s in college going to a middle school birthday party, please lock this nonce up 😭 wtf are Lily’s parents doing, even her classmates know this is weird af. The party itself was sweet and I’m glad Lily is making friends so quickly, that’s the only good part about this series really. Kids interacting with people from around the world is great for combating racism and other stereotypes. Gotta actually meet and talk to people to get to know them. The only thing that sticks out to me is, I went to uni in the UK and I don’t think people cosplay for birthday parties lmao. Glad Lily’s dad got to show up at the end as well. |

I CAN'T GET ENOUGH AOI DRESSED LIKE A GOOFY CAT 😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ But seriously tho, Aoi must have felt so damn uncomfortable seeing Lily act like that with Renji all the time lol Lily's mom is certified milf ngl, and her dad is super funny, I don't care how big of a cliche he is, the dude hating on Renji is the best 🤣 Hotaru looks cute dresses as the bunny 🥰 The two other friends are cute, I liked them actually reacting accordingly to not know wtf is going on between Lily and Renji lol, It's kinda sad but I'm pretty sure they haven't mentioned their names a single time (in the character list they don't even have real names!). Also, Karin casually gifting Lily an arcade stick is insane, those things are crazy expensive even in Japan, damn (even second handed, and I doubt she bought a cheap one considering how "gamer" she is). |
