| Well I mean that truly was a movie. Can't say I'm the most fond the how the chips all fell but my personal bias aside this was a good long episode disguised as a movie. |

| Not really sure why the movie was split into a 4 part episode series but whatever we ballin. So in general this movie and the show was absolutely incredible, like you could unironically make 2 separate shows one about Makoto and Ryuji and then one about Saki that's how amazing this show was. Plus this show really hit home with certain themes like troubled family life and then Makoto's freedom to express himself separately from the normal male standard. This movie was mainly focused on Saki and partially Makoto, not really Ryuji since his story wrapped up in season 1 in a fairly bittersweet way. Firstly to talk about Saki's parents I absolutely stand by the fact that neither of them should have had a kid, I mean im glad they did since they gave birth to one incredible girl but like the father couldn't get his priorities straight and the mother just flat out can't raise a child. Both the parents are good at heart but some people are not meant to have kids, like seriously how is it your gonna have to watch your daughter nearly die to realise she's more important than work, like Jesus those sperm whales could have actually killed her if she was unlucky the sounds they make im pretty sure are extremely dangerous. But like how long would he prioritise her anyway before jumping back to work. Then the mother just hiding the fact she hooked up with some other dude, which you can't just expect a teen to randomly adjust to that it was really insensitive they hid that. In the end the best option was for her to stay with her Grandma but then she has her own priorities and may not be around for much longer. in the end Saki just wanted someone special who can love her and put her first, she also really struggled with choosing for herself and just kept saying "im fine" in the face of everything. Which really hurts cause in the end it just all broke down on her, but her final resolution was to be with Makoto and live alone it seems. and im glad Makoto's mother could accept him for who he truly is everyone should be free to express themselves. Overall this show was incredibly done, obviously it won't be for everyone since its a boys love/Cross dressing anime but I hope more people come to watch it Low 10/10 |
| Excellent, all the characters are more or less developed in terms of the plot, and the original has been fully adapted. I am glad that in the end, Aoi was able to find happiness and resolve her issues, great 10. |
