Which anime opening/ending song(s) do you think people should listen to the full version of?

A lot of the time what you hear with the TV-size version of an anime OP/ED is generally what you'll get with the full version, but other times the full version will have something unexpected or add even more to the song. What are the anime OP/ED song(s) that you feel like this is the case with? Where people are missing out on the complete experience by not listening to the full song?

This thread was inspired by the opening song for "Gachiakuta," but I also think this with the opening of "Chainsaw Man" and "Attack on Titan Season 3 Part 2" to a lesser degree.

EDIT: Almost forgot to include the ED song for "Tonari no Seki-kun" and an OP song for part 3 of Jojo, since both include a substantial instrumental break that you don't truly hear in the TV-size version.

They should just listen to anime music; it doesn't matter if it is the full version or not.

I've kept a lot of full versions of anime OPs/EDs.

I think the greatest might have to be Shiki no Uta. The ending theme of Samurai Champloo.

@hesienbob69 "Kick Back" is definitely a standout OP for a reason! And I ended up with mixed feelings on Kaguya-sama, but it's true that the opening songs always delivered.

Muri Muri Evolution from this season's Watanare

It is massively different from the original and has a lot of big name music video movie makers in the Japanese community collaborating together.

It's technically cheating as it is a licensed song that was used as the ED for Jojo Part 5, but Modern Crusaders by ENIGMA goes so hard and it's probably one of my favorite songs the franchise introduced me to.

While the actual adaptation may be really bad, I think the OPs and EDs made specifically for the Persona 5 anime are some of the best songs written for the Persona 5 era of the franchise. INFINITY is probably my favorite of them and the verses that aren't used in the ED version are really good. I probably like it more than Hoshi to Bokura to as a song even if the other song fits the game better due to the leitmotif being used throughout P5's original soundtrack.

Zoom Zoom by Aespa is a special one because depending on what language you watched Beyblade X in, you got to hear a different segment of the song. Therefore for both Japanese and international viewers, the full song has stuff you don't hear in the show and that's kind of cool.

I just like One OK Rock so I feel obligated to also mention Prove since I mentioned another song used in Beyblade. I slightly prefer the English version of the song over the bilingual one but both are mainstays in my running playlist.

Rewrite is just a classic and I love the full song. The slower section that isn't used in Fullmetal Alchemist is one of my favorite parts of the song with how it just picks up again with the main chorus shortly after
This post is brought to you by your local transfem gamer goblin. Will not tolerate bigotry and will fight against "anti-woke" sentiment to make the anime community a safer place.

That can really just apply to most anime openings imo. But to name some:
-Great Days (Diamond is Unbreakable)
-Inferno (Fire Force)
-Hands Up! (One Piece)
-Silhouette (Naruto: Shippuden)
-Good Morning World! (Dr. Stone)
-Kick Back (Chainsaw Man)
-COLORS (Code Geass)
-ALONES (Bleach)
If I had to choose between One Piece and a girlfriend...I think I'll go with One Piece

Most anime opening/ending songs feel like it's giving me more of what I already know I'll like - which is not a bad thing - but then there are a few songs that will have a part that I didn't expect or that really adds to the song, but it's into included in the TV-size version. It makes me feel like people would be missing out on how good the song is by not listening to the full thing.

EDIT: To be more specific, what I liked in the TV-size version is what I also tend to end up liking in the full version, so often times there's nothing new that overshadows the part I did like, but then there are songs like the ones I listed in my original post that will have a part in the full version that I end up liking just as much (if not more).

"Modern Crusaders" is one of my favorite Jojo ending songs. I'm glad that they included the Lacrimosa part in the actual ED.

I know I've heard this full version before, but it's been a while and not one of the FMA songs that I listen to on a more frequent basis. Although this is a good song and the slower section adds a nice ebb and flow to it.

I'll pick one, and only one.

Yep. Not any of the anime from my faves, but this specific ED from this specific anime. It goes on for like a minute longer than most of the other EDs I know of, which is good given how GOOD it is.

I think people should watch the full version after watching the anime for every anime opening or ending atleast once.
