| Well when Meroron challenged the girls to a “rivalry” last week, I didn’t think they’d pay it off soon and certainly didn’t expect it to be a cooking contest of all things 😂 As you’d expect, didn’t last long and it all worked out in the end as we now officially have the full team. Glad they’re finally all together and smiling again! Can’t really fault Pretty Holic for wanting to cash in on the popularity of the new cures and peoples’ natural curiosity about who’s “better” Perfect opportunity for Meroron to settle her beef with Uta too. Lmao at Tanaka having to put on a hazmat mask because of Purirun’s cooking. Brief interruption in the cooking contest for this week’s fight! Finally we get a Kurayaminda that requires all the girls to work together. Thank you Zakkuri! Also fitting the person he turned into this week’s monster was planning to cook for her beloved. Even after the takedown, Meroron still being a hater and not wanting Zukyoon and Idol to celebrate together is so funny to me. Honestly feel bad for her, but I love how she basically fell in love again at the end there when Zukyoon tried cheering her up too, paying off her line earlier about Zukyoon’s ability to make anyone fall in love instantly! I really enjoyed the Zukyoonkiss arc, but I am glad we’re moving on at this point. I would really like to see some more Nana focused episodes, especially since today was her birthday. Happy birthday to the most underrated character in the series! I feel like she’s been criminally neglected at this point. |

| Meroron is the break away from the comedy cook trope, while cooking may look dubious, but in the end turns out great. Now this new ED is finally one that was put more effort. Compared to some the non-idol Precure series the first one was bland. |

| enjoyed the new ending song. It has a nice calming effect. Also nice to see all 5 cures dancing. almost the entire episode is Meroron once again trying to monopolize Purirun, but she fail as usual. Well, it's a little sad to see Kiss sitting alone in the waiting room, but her onee-sama cheer her again. lol and those foods that they cooked all look delicious. ^^ I thought the food Mero cooked will be terrible, but she's actually good at cooking. |

| Did anybody notice that this episode is a 100% clone of the typical formula of "heroes vs. previous heroes" of Toei tokusatsus that Toei likes so much that they make even movies out of it? The various Kamen Rider vs. Kamen Rider, Sentai vs. Sentai, etc. etc. etc. It's not a formula I particularly like because I don't need heroes smashing their faces one to each other to buy action figures (I'm not a child), but I've seen it and tolerated in the likes of the episodes of Zyuohger where they confront the Gokaiger team or in the episodes where the (old, at the time) Juuko B-Fighter busted the ass of the B-Fighter Kabuto team. A clone with a magical girl topping taken from Hime-Chan No Ribbon (the thing about the cuisine competition etc. etc.). I had no friggin' idea the transition between the tokusatsu part at the core of this franchise and the magical girl topping had become so seamless and perfected. Also, I don't get all this raving about Meroron, I'm not the biggest Gai from Choujin Sentai Jetman aficionado (I'm not supposed to empathize with shoujo bad boys like him) but she's him without White Swan and the bad boy thing of infidelity. |
