| Wtf lmao, why the hell would Lushu just exit the god raideen. He had the whole power of the universe at his finger tips and he just lets it go? Decides to go mono 1 on 1 against the raideens. What did you think would happen controlling a ancient robot that belonged to the ancestors of the angels. The writing behind this just felt so contrived. Well at least this battle against god raideen was a typical threat that was much needed in this series that followed a very generic monster of the week format. I also liked how finally the citizens of the earth joined in on the battle and we got introduced to some interesting characters. Well only 9 episodes left to go, lets see what direction the series takes from here. So far this first part was just abysmal, with a complete lack of characterization. Hardly no one I can relate to or feel any connection to. To bad because there was potentual there. The action was also extremly one dimensional and very short lived for each of the devil gods. But the writing seems to have improved since god raideen was revived so I have some hope for the show to kind of redeem it self. |
