I really haven't watched any of the Movies, but I understand the Miyazaki one is a Masterpiece.

You can just skip straight to the Miyazaki movie. However, if you like his stuff, then you’ll also like the later half of part 1. A lot of it is directed by him

start with castle of cagliostro if that's what you really want to watch. i do recommend the original series tho it's a fun watch

I recommend fujiko mine as starter it's godly and so different from the rest of the entries. In fact it was so strong in my case I never touched Lupin III after that one.
