Do I watch tri or leave it?

Okay so this is kinda be a silly question and proberly annoy someone, that's not my goal, I wanna know it watching tri is not worth the time/gets on my nerves.

For reference I've watched

Digimon s1 and s2

The digimon movie/war games/ hurricane

Revenge of Diaboromon

Now I've keep seeing people say that tri is a train wreck and makes the OG characters act differently, I've also heard there older (which I'm happy with)

I don't want them to act totally different after the great character development in the OG series.

So what I'm asking based on other forums etc, is it okay to skip tri and just watch Last Evolution – Kizuna?

I'm proberly gonna start digimon tamers in the next week, so I'm in no rush.

the opinions on tri among the fans are divided. some will say it's great, others will say it's bad. all I can say is give it a try and see for yourself

I watched a lot of Tri but stoped. It was good but was just too long for me. I then watched Kizuna and some things from Tri get carried over. I’d say watch the 1st and 2nd part then go to Kizuna if you don’t want to finnish the rest of it.

Tri may be worse than 02 and written by different people, but Last Evolution (which I haven't seen) also wasn't written by anyone who worked on the classics. I think Tri has something to offer for all Digimon fans, albeit not much.

Most of the returning characters are fine. The movie's problems lie elsewhere.

tri is pretty bad, however, I won't say it's unwatchable...
if you really like adventure, then go ahead, if not, it's better to go for the movies Kizuna and Last evolution.
however, I strongly recommended you to watch the other non adventure seasons, they're great, specially tamers, Xros wars, frontier and ghost game.
the only thing you must avoid at any cost is the reboot, Digimon adventure 2020

Watch Our war game, Hurricane touchdown, and revenge of diaboromon first. Personally I think if you want more Digimon content I’d watch the other seasons first (especially tamers) though they’re not about the same people. With that being said, if you want more content from the adventure timeline, I’d absolutely go for it (again though, watch the older movies first, they are canon). While there are legitimate problems with tri, I personally really enjoyed them and if you just like Digimon and its characters I’d say it’s worth it. Definitely watch Last Evolution Kizuna after you watch tri though, it’s incredible.

well... it was nice for me due to the nostalgic factor. if you watched adventure as a kid, just go for it. we got the OGs, EVO theme again and much more. it's not a bad version, but it's not good either lol

Mate never go after other people opinions, watch and have ypur own opinion, I did like Tri, not as much as Adventure, but it was fun. Also, watch Kizuna Last Evolution thats a good tear jerker
