 The official website of the Izure Saikyou no Renkinjutsushi? (Someday Will I Be the Greatest Alchemist?) television anime revealed two additional cast and the second promotional video on Friday. The anime series adapting Maru Kogitsune's adventure fantasy light novel will begin airing on January 8 at 10:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX followed by BS11, and AT-X. It will also premiere earlier on ABEMA and d Anime Store on January 1.Nobuo Tobita (Naruto) and Kikuko Inoue (Ranma 1/2) are joining the cast as Papek and Mulan, respectively. Naoyuki Kuzuya (Eiyuuou, Bu wo Kiwameru Tame Tenseisu) is directing the anime at Studio Comet. Mitsutaka Hirota (Gimai Seikatsu) is handling the series composition, with Sayaka Anezaki (Touhai) is charge of the character designs. Hiroshi Nakamura (Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon) is composing the music. Kogitsune began writing the novel on the AlphaPolis website in August 2017. AlphaPolis began publishing the series with illustrations by Hitogome in February 2022. The 16th volume went on sale on May 22. Tarou Sasakama began drawing a manga adaptation on the AlphaPolis website in August 2018. The seventh volume shipped on May 22. AlphaPolis publishes the manga digitally in English on its Alpha Manga website and app and released the first volume in March 2023. The sixth volume was released on April 26.
