| Incredible first chapter/impression to start with from AmeToToge! An odd abandoned grocery store where its products magically absorb into a human's body parts to increase the size of the product. Whatever the store clerk cuts off the person, it returns back to its original form of a product, bigger. Dismembering people effortlessly with a sharp post sign is implausible, but whatever, the magic in the store itself may counter the logic. We can only wonder on the details of how long has this store run as a business, who does he chose to "kill", but... it's horror. Poor shoplifter girl got caught stealing from the guy's impulse, and couldn't see the previous victims, even though she vaguely heard them. Fascinating chapter. That view of the other shelves of cut corpses and living dismembered people is incredible. ... The costumer feedback from the victims which the clerk casually neglects is freaky too. 7/10. As I thought, I think this mangaka has potential from two one-shots I've read. Beautiful art as well. |
