| This started off as a weaker Guyver or Birdy and it never really recovered from there. Although aesthetically pleasing to me thanks to its creatures and armour design, manly protagonist the type of which you don't really see anymore, and the flamengo influenced opening, the visuals and sound can't even compare to those of those other two shows. There are some good aspects in here that could have made a proper good story, but the anime suffers from some bad writing in how the events barely seem to affect the world, awful and seemingly brain damaged secondary characters, and most of all clear time skips between the episodes, and of course the open ending. 5/10, I liked it, but it wasn't worth it. |
