| @aloradear Well, he's basically there to add some tension so that the manga doesn't feel like diabetic SoL and yuri bait because of its melodramatic depiction of friendship between cute girls. And also strengthen the male audience, considering that this is a shoujo-like manga in a shonen edition. |
