My god, I just watched all the bluray fixes on the 2nd season of jujutsu kaisen and I have to say that they are much more worthy than the season we had during the summer, especially the battle between maharoga and Sukuna which is totally something else on the bluray, Mappa is really a studio that sucks and doesn't leave time for its animators to be able to express themselves at their best with the right timing, if they had given the necessary time to the jujutsu kaisen staff to shine we would have really had something sensational to see on the screen (because it must be said that this 2 season there were some errors due to time limits) and it's not the first time this has happened, even with aot for example they improved the quality a lot on bluray compared to the television season, I don't really understand how can Mappa rush everything without taking into account that a job needs the right time and the right working conditions to be done well, this is unacceptable, what do you think?

Kind of a weird strategy to make money but I would say that it’s still unacceptable tho. Jjk season 2 should’ve been delayed and not rushed.

So I was right... again...
Btw many shows would be much better if they got more time. But that's not how this industry works.

I think this has to do with the production committee too. Also, Chainsaw man was a MAPPA funded anime, so it was aired after full completion. I'm not implying here that MAPPA are in the right here, but it's all about the production and stuff, and how they can make as much money as possible, after all it's an industry in itself.
I wish they don't rush the rest of the shows now, the next arc on JJK and Chainsaw man are some of the best.

I'm not sure where you got this from. CSM also had major production problems specially during the later episodes, tons of 2nd key animators needed and scenes being very unfinished and some needed to be replaced with CG as a last-minute decision since there was no time to finish animation.

It was already known that Mappa didn't give the proper time to their animators to complete their work or to make it even better.
What the Blue Ray shows is something pretty much everyone knew would happen.
If only they learned from this and stopped taking in so many productions every year, they could have more time to make better work.

Tight TV deadlines negatively affecting the quality of the product aren't unique to mappa although they seem to be hit pretty often.
Just an outside observation though. I don't know what's going on behind the scenes.

I agree, they should stop making so much main stream anime and give the stuff proper time to finish it.

@rafi369 They just have to space out productions. They have enough titles under their belt to stay focused on sequels. Vinland Saga, CSM, JJk, Hell´s Paradise are all theirs, they could give us sequels almost every year.

Many people complained about Jigokuraku too.... they butchered it yea. But i loved it. But i agree that Mappa should fuckin stop slavering their employees and taking their time

that's mappa for you... although they probably had a contract and order for a certain amount of episodes in a specific amount of time, so delays would have broken said contract. it's really a shame how they've treated their workers and how the blu ray basically just FINISHED what already needed to be finished in the first place...

I'm tired of hearing about the Blu-ray "fixes". Most of the changes were so insignificant that they don't really matter in the grand scheme of things unless you're the kind of person who pauses during episodes continuously just to dissect every other frame of animation.

@Early_Morning What are you talking about? Maybe for the other episodes, but the Mahoraga fight had entire scenes being reworked from basically zero, sequences cut off from the episode due to time being added in, and even getting new animators that were not in the TV airing to make new scenes.
