He got it in the voting exam cause he got the votes from class A. That happened like 3 episodes ago

He got it when Yamagod planned his own expulsion, and manipulated Sakayanagi into giving all of her class's Praise Vote to Ayanokouji.

The person with most Criticism Votes got expelled while the person with Most Praise votes got Protect Point, Praise Votes and Criticism Votes cancel each other out.

Yes, Ayanokouji will not be getting expelled thanks to Yamagod.

Each Student could give 3 Praise Votes to their classmates and 1 Praise Vote to any one student from another class

Yeah, I kind of can't believe someone forgot it so soon, but then again the Anime didn't let the weight of this exam sink in:
one episode the exam was announced, later Horikita suggested Yamagoat to be expelled and then in another he was.
in Light Novel it took reading some 100 pages for all this to happen.

Not how many points but it helps from expulsion from any upcoming exam or something which might lead to expulsion and that too only once which now has been used so he is vulnerable.

He got it from Arisu during the negative and positive votes exam.
