| during the fall of 2002, even after a failed attempt to drop out of high school midway through (year 3 out of 5), i was forced to attend repairing extra classes to fix my extremely poor grades in maths, every monday from 12:50 to 13:40. Or, to be more accurate, i was supposed to. After just four times there were a complete torture of boredom and with my body almost falling apart, i misinterpreted some communication and stopped going altogether, or i just decided it was just four dates long, whatever... it was a waste of time anyway. In fact, a classmate that also was in the same situation and i never talked to, on a later monday came to me and said "will you be at maths extra class this time?" "...WAIT, WHAT? WEREN'T THOSE ENDED AFTER 4 TIMES ALREADY?" "No, actually, they are 8" "eh, whatever, NO, i don't care, i decide it's all over already, i have a life to live" In fact, nobody ever came to confront me for all of this situation (and the teacher was a different one, good for me, it made everything easier to face) so... more videogames, more anime on MTV... i was still a pathetic ugly loser, but at least wasn't completely wasting my time. sq |
