2017 It was the first time I tried Korean BBQ. I was invited to a friend's birthday and there was like 15 of us I think. He invited lot's of folks. My favourite items at the Korean BBQ are definitely pork belly and pork jowl. Lots of fat content, tons of flavour.It was nice for sure, I got to see a bunch of familiar faces and also meet some people. ========= 2018 |

| officially decided to complete, during the final months of the year, a dance music compilations collection started in the early 2000's as a teenager, created by my favorite italian radio station of that decade from 1996 to 2006. i already owned about 35 out of 60 at that point and since i had no more money issues as a working adult, spared no expenses with the two most rare and expensive ones as soon as they finally appeared on Ebay after i checked for both day by day. The final one (released at the beginning of summer 1999) bought during the same year was mine for just a matter of minutes because i clicked to pay immediately while other interested people tried to negotiate, and it arrived on December 30 so i could gladly listen to it again on New Year's Eve during a car travel. 1999 |

| Avoiding a job con in may or june that wasn't about what was written on the announcement. "Working into a warehouse?" No, more like "door to door salesman of energy contracts" staying away all day by car trips. In fact, one of the two people that were supposed to train me silently told (when the other had briefly left the car) to run away fast and that he fell for the same trick but couldn't resign in that moment. Obviously i agreed, and when i was asked by her at her return if i was interested in the job, i said "NO". Almost as a retort, to top it all on frustration, i was far from home and forced without previous notice or arrangement to return with a bus on my own and very few bucks remaining (there was a train station, but far from easily connected to my little town also having one), basically abandoned since i refused to continue for the day. All i can remember for the rest of the day is that i immediately changed back from a business suit to t-shirt and shorts after i returned home, barely watched in time a Dragon Ball first series episode on italian television, and was even more depressed for not being able to find a proper first real job (it would have finally arrived at september) sq |

| Beginning to discover the italian version of MTV channel in the final months of the year, because it still was a pay-per-view channel from the beginning in 1997 until the summer of 2001 (forgot the month, on the internet it is written May, i thought it was slightly later but i can be wrong). The first show i started watching was Videoclash, it was aired during dinner time, using martial arts-inspired opening theme and visuals, and recorded with a audience and a host that asked for voting among two music videos and broadcasting the winner. To be honest, even if it was a entertaining enough show, the thing i liked the most was watching girls wearing karate gis and headbands as they introduced the chosen videos by giving a scroll to the host. And to be even more honest again, i would have gone deeper and deeper into MTV in general starting with the following year especially thanks to, you know, MTV Anime Night every tuesday. sq |
