Ok I get it's a cycle and all with humanity wiped out and then replaced with the pod humans? or whatever but I'm still confused. So it's over now i guess. The End. Final. No continues?

Literally "everybody dies, some random Bull happens, the end".
I wasnt expecting a happy ending but I hoped it would atleast be satisfying.

Can't say I'm satisfied. It was a good ride anyway, even with a bit of an disappointing ending.

Anyone know if the manga got axed because it wasn't popular? It definitely feels like an abrupt ending.

Can someone explain the end? It just tells the story of the "new earthlings" but where is the connection to the MC and Haru? She killed him and let him reborn as the new species of the "new earthlings" is that correct? and then it just cuts to the story of the "new earthlings"? What is with the MC and Haru? At the beginning of the last chapter you can see Haru and the reborn MC (now named Noah, is that some kind of reference to the bible or something?) but it said that they watched for thousands and ten thousands of years, so why is Noah still a baby? And what is with the flashbacks of the situations with the MC and Haru that eno has in the end? I really hoped for a ending that made more sense, I really liked the manga otherwise. So if somebody knows something or has a theory: please let me know!
