Sooo as per S2 finale they changed the return to earth arc very much lol. Beta went with shadow in that world as Per LN/Manga but here shadow alone?? Don't get me wrong, I am really glad that movie got announced but I hope they will get this arc back on track with the source material or else it will make no sense lol, somehow send beta there as well lol

It says in Kage-Jitsu that Beta is gone too.

I’m guessing they didn’t introduce her on the other earth so that the ending could parallel the beginning of the story.

Bro Akane kidnapping scene again didn't even existed lol. But ya after watching kagejitsu, beta also went there and it's fine now

Yeah I don't know how it is in the LN but it's already a lot different from how the manga portrays it

Not sure if that reference to the first arc of S1 was really that mandatory tbh

Not really worried about the Beta part, pretty sure they will show it in the movie.

This reminds me how people were screaming bloody murder when they didn't show Cid's monologue during the school terrorist act thinking they skipped it only to show it the next episode.

The thing that threw me off a loop however is when they showed Akane and Shadow meeting that way, that didn't happen at all during the LNs so most likely they'll have to alter that.
