"Chainsaw Man" creator Tatsuki Fujimoto has revealed that the motive of Reze & Denji is inspired by the Anime Movie "Jin-Roh - The Wolf Brigade" by Production I.G. and is recommending everyone to watch it!

Jin-Roh is an Alternate History Japan set Political Action Thriller where Nazi Germany won WWII focusing on the difficult relationship of an armed military corps soldier and the sister of a suicide bomber terorrist.

Definitely one the best anime movies of the 90's and leagues above that cesspoll of EoE. It's sad that the anime industry went down to the route of the latter one...

Not going to lie when I watched this film I thought it was shit. But it’s cool to know Tatsuki Fujimoto likes it. Angel’s Egg and both Gits movies are miles better in my opinion.

It is an alright film, you can clearly see the correlation between the sister and Reze, but I don't see this analogy with Denji so clearly here, sure bits and pieces.
