Does Yor ever get any more interesting?

Admittedly, I'm only midway into this part of the show (haven't even started S2), but the discrepancy between how much the anime OPs and EDs advertise Thorn Princess... and how much of this part of Yor's life is actually shown... feels like kind of a cheat.

I know Spy x Family isn't necessarily something one watches for character study, needless to say, but I feel like even Loid / Twilight's double life, and the psychological and social consequences of this double life, is better explored than Yor's.

Yor and Thorn Princess are such Jekyll-and-Hyde polar opposites that it feels like a missed opportunity to explore a potentially fascinating character. Does it ever start happening even a little bit?

she gets a good arc towards the end of the current season. idk about anything after that, I haven't read the manga. but I really enjoyed seeing more of her working.

I like Yor more than Anya. You will see more of Yor in this season so no worries there. She'll turn into a nice Thorn Princess.
I'd like to see more of Yuri instead. He's obsession of Yor is so good that it's funny.

for me i find him annoying.. i will take more loid × yor moments than him appearing tbh

@Lucky02 But nothing happens in Loid x Yor moments. Except maybe some fake dates/family time. If Yuri is there, then he would do whatever to try to like arrest Loid etc etc.

I had this exact thought whilst watching Part 2 😭😭 But don’t worry! She has a rlly cool arc in Season 2! So maybe keep on watching for now

They give her some development but she stays useless and should probably have never graduated past a side character.

I have read the manga, and I’ll try to avoid spoilers. Yor has lots of development later on and is a very cool character. Keep in mind that Anya is the main character so Yor is still more of a back burner character; she also doesn’t get as much attention as Loid. Idk how it’ll be adapted to the anime.
