Some characters are very, very similar to Tokyo Ghoul

I get that Studio Pierrot was also in charge of the first two seasons of Tokyo Ghoul and that’s all the more reason why the animation in this show is similar to that in Tokyo Ghoul (their have their distinct style, which is great). Come to think of it, I felt the same kind of thing while watching Shakugan no Shana and Zero no Tsukaima, which had virtually identical characters in all regards, and while watching anime made by Trigger.
