It's fun to know that Akane doesn't like to deal with math despite the amount of super duper fun and energetic logic she provides XD. Also Okiku-nee is a senpai? Only read like 1 and some of chapter 2 of the light novel but hm. I need to check everything. Differences happening here and there. Also currently 4 chapters have been currently translated so I'm sad. I'll just have to use DeepL or something and find all the raws including the manga. ;-;.
Episode 7: 13:24 - "Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Plus, a coward like you couldn't find anything about it." Mei is super fun too XD. Though I prefer her version which was before had no memories. She basically fell off afterwards imo. Like the staff didn't put too much effort into her character. Just a simple tsundere, which is cute don't get me wrong but she needs to have better insults and stuff.
Episode 8: 10:44 - Souta crawling away XD.
Episode 9: 14:43 - "I think that your grandfather would prefer to see you smiling, rather than looking down with teary eyes." - Souta to Hakua. Nice line ;).
Episode 10: 15:26 - Gawoware shenanigans lol.
Episode 11: 14:55 - "We met again yesterday. Will we meet again today?" Oh wait, is this when Serika started singing? But yeah, legendary moment that made me realize the power of Gawoware. I think younger me has cried during this moment too though I'm not too sure. I wish I journaled back then like I do now. And yes, I've anime journaled about Gawoware episodes and screenshotting so many things about Gawoware. Especially dialogue because they're super fun :). Ah. I should have done that instead of typing timestamps. Oh well. Another time :).

Kurumiko is the little sister type while Hakua is the needy type. These 2 traits have similarities. Since Hakua has a spoilt life, she always try to rely on others. Hence how she gets to have Okiku-nee give her a lap pillow in um.... ah, found it. Episode 10 - 09:33. Hakua manages to needy her way into Okiku-nee into spoiling her XD. I mean Okiku-nee can spoil other characters like in Episode 7 - 3:14 where she hugs Kurumiko even though Okiku-nee was first against the idea of Souta having another little sister. XD. Then there's episode 3 - 1:35 of her taking advantage of the sleepy Megu into Souta's bed. XD. Well that's not really spoiling other characters but more like spoiling Souta now that I think about it. Okiku-nee is devious XD. But yeah Hakua + Okiku-nee is a great relationship to dive deep into because I can see how Hakua's character development where she doesn't want to be needy anymore. Well no, Hakua will still be needy but she wants to help the other girls too. Hence why with Kurumiko, the little sister, her new little sister who looks up to her, will ask Hakua-neesama how to like... do things. Kurumiko is usually scared of people with a lot of money since Kurumiko is growing up poor and alone and lost her parents so like... Kurumiko tries to earn money by herself. Episode 6 - 8:44 - "It's an Udon from the station that has diluted until it's the same color as a sports drink." | Like Kurumiko has to resort to diluted Udon liquid to sell off as a drink like.... ;-;. So yeah, that's the thing with Kurumiko. She has to force herself to be independent. And that clashes with Hakua's dependent-ness so like... you know... Like Hakua will try to teach Kurumiko something but Kurumiko will be like "Um... Hakua-neesama, shouldn't it be done like this?" and then Hakua will go "I-I-I was just testing if you knew how to do this Kurumiko-chan. You're very smart. Very smart." Like... XD. Honestly I've never like written much fanfiction before. I did a tiny bit on Tantei Opera Milky Holmes before I gave up, or rather lost interest. I have no idea how to write in a way that's enjoyable but alas. Some ideas just magically happen somehow and it's just wow. I need to figure out how to like make super fun dialogue that's also natural like hm. Anyways, Kurumiko is basically the reason why Hakua keeps on trying to be independent. She sees Kurumiko being so skilled at simple things that Hakua can't help but feel the need to learn different skills. It's not just because of Hakua though. There will be moments in Hakua's life where she sees her friends needing help but she doesn't know how to help them, and rather, she sees her other friends help them instead, which makes her feel so useless. She's the one who gets all the help instead, even from little sister Kurumiko-chan, and that just hurts her a lot. ... Hakua... So yeah, everyone then sees Hakua being hurt and decides not to spoil Hakua anymore. Actually Hakua would be in super conflict with Rin who doesn't like Okiku-nee spoiling Souta back in Epsiode 8 - 1:04, so there's that too. Like Rin is the type to hate incompetency, at least for men. Not sure for women though. Like it makes me wonder about how Hakua and Rin would interact. Like I know characters should be nice to each other and support each other all the time but where's the point if they don't argue with each other? So I'd rather Rin criticize Hakua, but at the same time, another character like perhaps... Okiku-nee I guess would go "Rin, you don't have to take it that far! She grew up a princess you know!" to then which Rin responds with "Nanami is a princess too yet she isn't as needy as Hakua. That's not an excuse." Ah... and Nanami would go something like "Yeah but..." and silence... like she can't exactly argue with Rin's point. Rin is right. But then again, I don't exactly know about Nanami's backstory. Like I need to read more on the light novel. Perhaps even the manga too if it has some additional info there like hm. Plus in the anime, Episode 8 - 18:01 - "Well, you could count the number of times we've met on one hand." Like Nanami and Hakua aren't exactly that familiar with each other. It'd still be hard for Nanami to argue for Hakua's case here. Though she does know that Hakua has been spoilt by their grandfather a lot since she's the youngest and the 14th princess. Hm. Need more information here... Ah, and let's just say that there's not much more information in the light novels and manga regarding their relationship for some reason, then I'll just make my own backstories for them. It's fanfiction, anything can happen. Though I'd super love it if they make sense or feels super duper true to Gawoware somehow. Like... the fans loving the backstory idea so much and can't help but fall in love with the character more... I mean... Ruri. Like let's say you've only watched 3 episodes of Gawoware, and you decided to make fanfiction for Ruri because she's super awesome. You could have thought of Ruri having some sort of database and having past recordings of cute little Akane. Like episode 4 showed the recording of the 13th year of the Showa Era(14:02). Like even if you didn't know Ruri could record even that far, (or perhaps it was another robot version of Ruri during that time), like having known about Episode 3(20:52) which revealed that Ruri can record moments (though I wonder how she recorded Rin and Souta's moment woah. Was she hiding this whole time? XD). Like it wouldn't be impossible to think about the many kinds of recordings Ruri can show. And uh... you know... I've thought of a better way to end Gawoware S1. Yes, there will be billions of episodes because it truly has infinite potential XD. So the new idea that I have right now is basically Ruri showing the recordings of the many different fun moments that happened in the series. Though they should start from episode 3... Ah, but let's say the end credits showed the fun parts of episodes 1 and 2, Ruri chimes in and says "Ah, I have recordings from here on. Would you like to see them? Yes or no?" and we all know what to answer with :). Ah but it's hard to think of how to do this in a natural way. Ah!!!!! The end credits of episodes 1 and 2 transition to their party and Ruri would chime in and ask if it's okay to share the recordings of their memories. Ohhhhhhh. Yeah yeah yeah yeah. That's super duper Gawoware ;). Yeah, I love Gawoware so much. It's truly the Greatest Anime of All-Time. I'm definitely reviving it and will direct the billions of episodes it will have ;). Gotta start out with making the best Gawoware fanfiction though. Anyways I just realized that I was supposed to talk about Hakua + Kurumiko. How'd we get to Ruri? See, life is fun. Super duper fun. I love journaling. I love how I can just talk about anything and not feel restricted by low-level socializing. There's something fun about going from "I need to talk to everybody. Where's everybody? I'm lonely" to "Who cares about anybody? I literally have the best thoughts in the world, everyone else sucks and can't even talk about their all-time favorite thing for even as long as 1 minute. Absolute trash human beings who contribute to nothing." :). You're a Gawoware fan? Think again. Where are your billions of screenshots? Where are your essays on why you like the characters? Where are your journals that have hundreds of thousands of character count in them? Do you even know the OP and ED singles? TwinkAtrick? Harukaze Fragments? Actually I haven't memorized all the character songs and OSTs and everything so I'm not a true Gawoware fan unfortunately. I'm just thinking about how a Japanese fan has much more obsession with Gawoware than me and it hurts. I get super rich enough to buy all the rights from Gawoware, and even get blessings from the author who's super happy to have me 100%, 200%, 300%, infinity% improve Gawoware to worldwide domination. Get my blessings from the fans who know that I could make Gawoware the Greatest Anime of All-Time. Get the greatest animators to ever live and inspire them to infinity to make the Greatest Sakuga's of all time and every Gawoware is full of super duper fun interactions every single second. Even when there's drama, there will be those simple comedic moments that just makes you love the characters. Think of Nendruri from Episode 8(19:29) trying to stop her new robot version of herself which is basically like her little sister. Even though Hakua had the death flag just some moments before. Like... anything is possible. Not saying that every dramatic point must have a cute comedic moment but like... just make it super duper consistent to the characters. If Megu is a boy that wants to be manly but thinks of manly as girly things, then stay in that realm. However it would be super duper fun to see a Megu moment where she actually saves her friends and is manly. Maybe Megu is super duper scared while fighting against someone and no I don't mean Megu has to use violence, but more like delaying the villain or something... Oh... with the power of Megu's cuteness of course. "D-D-Don't hurt my friends!" and then the villain has "She's way too cute!!!" reaction and blushes too much. Hahahahahaha! See! This is the type of thing I'm talking about. The infinite potential of Gawoware. ... I wish the anime had capitalized on these ideas much more. Like episode 8 is cool but uh... where's Okiku-nee's participation in the train? Megu could have participated in the fight too. Arguing about his gender XD. But yeah, it was weird when I watched the OVA and was wondering about something wrong with Okiku-nee and she had no ladle... then I look back on the anime and it turns out that she didn't have the ladle from episode 3 and onwards... ... Kikudepression... even worse is when you realize that she didn't even have her ladle in the ED... more Kikudepression... So yeah, it's just things like that that makes you wonder... Am I truly a fan of the show if I didn't even realize things like that? Does she even have her ladle in the light novel? When does she use her ladle? She has it back in episode 10 but does that mean that those who worked on episodes 1-3 and 10, are different from the ones who worked from episodes 4-9 and 11-13? It makes me wonder about things. But in Episode 8(00:06) she's holding a fan and spoiling Souta with it. That's definitely big sister like so that's okay. But yeah it just makes me wonder about things... like Gawoware was my Ultimate Gateway Anime when I watched it as a teenager a long long time ago and I didn't even know it was the Greatest Anime of All-Time, just a super enjoyable anime that I found on YouTube + I didn't have much experiences on anime so how would I have known? Though it's kinda weird saying it's the Greatest Anime of All-Time when I've watched similar anime that are also chemistry-heavy like K-On! and Yuru Yuri. Also New Game!, Gochiusa, Mitsuboshi Colors, Noucome, Shinryaku! Ika Musume, uh... what else? I forgot. Nearly 700 anime completed yet I could care less about most of them because that's how it is. Couldn't care less about what other people recommend because if I end up not liking them, then I'd just feel like trash. It's the ones that you discover accidentally that you love the most. Not the ones that you chose based on a random person's recommendation. Nobody talks about Gawoware, at least in a popular sense, and that surprises me, but at the same time, makes me feel special for liking this anime. Until you find out on YouTube that the Arabic subs for Gawoware have hundreds of thousands of views, and the first episode even having 500k... ... Gawoware is not so niche after all is it? It simply isn't talked about because of the cringe and people thinking that it's just trash even when it's actually one of their best experiences of anime ever. Ah right, most people are just lazy. It's not like I journaled back then. Heck I haven't even made any blogs or videos yet right now. That's proof enough. Oh well. Gotta change that.
