bocchi is a yuri anime?

There is a yuri character in the main cast. Imho is enough to be yuri. Also I read there are multiple serious yuri hint in the manga, not just bait.

what shows you said vs this are 2 entirely different things. this show is blatantly a girl's love and yuri while the shows you mentioned are just normal shows that have scenes that could possibly suggest the slightest of possibilities that the characters could, in fact, be gay. I haven't seen Gundam but given your other 2 examples, I'm assuming it's similarly not yuri. having a character that could maybe be gay doesn't equal the show being gay. by that logic hunter x hunter is yaoi cause it has gay pedos in it

But that doesn’t mean that the whole show is Yuri. And I think it’s more obsession and respect than romantic love.
But even if red hair loves blue hair,
1. bocchi is straight, yellow hair is straight, blue hair is straight. The main char and 2 other mains are straight and you say the show is Yuri bc one of the mains is maybe gay
2. the show is about bocchi and music. There’s no space for a Yuri story.

Calling this show Yuri is simply wrong 😑

the jp twitter followers is 60k. The novel only managed to top monthly sales for january but then fell off after that
the chances of it being a long running series are pretty much 0. It might get a second cour but lucky for it to go beyond anything after. The publisher Fantasia Bunko cannot really depend on a show like this. Not to mention they are having issues with their current top series

You're confused. As people have stated. These are not Yuri. Just because you wish these were Yuri, doesn't make'em Yuri.

You can always search for Girls Love category on Mal, if you're desperate for Yuri.

As far as I know, this show is nowhere near as popular as the shows you mentioned.
