| Probably THE best ongoing harem romcom and one of the best of all time. Funny. REALLY funny. With the best MC I encountered in an harem (well, that wasn't much difficult) and with A LOT of wholesome moments. It is a great manga and hopefully it'll be a great anime as well |

| It's not like those. Kakkou no Iinazuke is your typical predictable harem romantic comedy of boy meets girl and gets married in the end. Kanojo mo Kanojo is your typical anime where the mc has many gf + tons of fan service, I heard the manga tried to become more "original" than the generic genre in the latest chapters, but I doubt it. 100 girlfriends is some kind of parody of the genre and a fresh approach. For me it's funny enough, but becomes (or will become at some point) too repetitive, it's the exact same progression for 100 different gfs. The manga is the exact same 3 chapters progression everytime: A girl is introduced and becomes mc's new gf, the next chapter mc introduces his new gf to the harem and they do something she likes to make her feel at home, the next chapter is about all or some of the gfs doing something random.... then everything repeats with a different girl. I would watch it for the comedy, the references to other anime media and the 4th wall breaking it has, but talking about plot is non-existent and shouldn't be watched expecting another generic harem romantic comedy, it ain't that. |
| No. Kakkou no Iinazuke is completely different, nothing similar with that. Kanojo mo Kanojo is a bit similar, the comedy is absurd and relationships is straightforward. It also parody of harem genre. but still different, because 100 girlfriends is 100x better. |
| Its more like a mix of both. Its structured like a comedy like Kanojo mo Kanojo but leaning towards parody, but you get to the point where its just repetitive and becomes unfunny like Couple of Cuckoos and its not really going anywhere. You also start forgetting the characters because, naturally, increasing the amount of characters like this just creates one note gimmicky tropes than actual characters. I think the story barely manages to keep even 5 harem members memorable. Its honestly sad that stories like this get good production. |

| It's like Kanojo mo Kanojo but it doesn't stop at 4 and doesn't have shitty arcs like Mirika's drama right before end. It's pure comedy haremshit. |

| call me biased, but if you're fine with (but more preferably enjoy) fourth wall breaks, some repetition of in-story jokes and gags, alongside a heaping pile of insanity from both the two mangaka working on this alongside their batshit idea that they're managing to continue executing in a manner i myself still enjoy, well this story is for you. though once i tried recommended the manga to a friend but they complained the first chapter was too dense so i did my best to not punch them. hopefully the anime will be easier for them. i won't say it gets good, cause damn it was great from the get-go for me damn it! |
