| The ending is awkwardly executed, I think, thus, 5/10. But a ghost possessing a capable parrot to speak to the living, while that ghost being the same woman who tormented the priest years before is interesting, even though it's odd how she was harassing the writer, I guess, to... as she claims, make him jealous (which he obviously isn't since he never loved her) ...all while coincidentally another woman who "loves" the writer, not the priest, is in a coma from drowning by attempted suicide... 'not sure how to explain all of this better. I really think that Junji Itou may not be great in adapting other's stories. He's far better creating his own. Most of his adapted stories from other's are awkwardly executed. Moreso but in a bad way in comparison to his own style. |
