| Wow, for a final episode that had to resolve a lot of loose plots they did a hella of a good job. I love the decaptation of Proeminence, you can see they upped the gore and their animation game for this final episode. Colonel Inspire also got a fitting end, as did the others. And what an awesome duel between Takashi and Galio. Why didn't the series focus more on developing cool rivals with cool robots for Lezarion like that? Anyways they did the best they could do with a single episode. Overall I liked this anime, specially in the beginning with the Moon rebels against the Earth Force. I like how diverse the main cast is and how badass aswell, the gratuitous and gruesome deaths all through out the series and Lezarion itself is fakin' awesome, lol. Still they lost a lot of time with the episodic format before starting getting into a real plot, and it looked like they didn't really know what to do with that plot either and in the end leaves a taste of what could have been if they had more laser focus on cool battles and development of key characters and storylines, not some cactus fortress or some biwa playing Djark monk, lol. My final score would be: one Dr. Godheid's cat/10 |
